Join Gangadhara, Swami Dharmananda, Divyatma and Bhavani in a beautiful celebration of light at the auspicious time of Diwali in the forest at Aranyaka.
The celebration will include: meditation, bhajan, story, havan and kirtan.
If you are inspired, feel free to bring along a plate of food to help dress up our simple sattvic meal that will be provided.
You can also bring a few tealight candles (or deepaks).
At the time of Diwali, houses are cleaned and preparations are made so that Lakshmi can be invited inside to share her gifts...
On a symbolic level, Lakshmi is light and the house to be cleaned is our inner dwelling.
This is a time when we give away what we've accumulated and make room inside.
Lakshmi's gift can come in the form of a subtle mist descending through the consciousness. Bringing waves of light-upon-light-upon-light... Decorating our inner house with gifts of true knowledge of the Self.
