Lalita Sahasra Namavalih
Date: TBA Upcoming date: TBA Time: TBA Address and program details: Will be emailed to you upon registration Cost: By donation (info given on registration form) Register here On the first Saturday of each month, we will come together to chant the 1000 names of Lalita and conduct a fire havan. This is an in-depth mantra sadhana and both your teachers, Muktimurti and Gangadhara, feel that it is a deeply transformative practice. Their chanting of Lalita Sahasra Namavalih has been their regular daily sadhana during the social distancing period, and they now wish to share this practice with the wider community. Lalita means ‘she who plays’. It has been said that it is the divine goddess herself who chooses who can chant her 1000 names. This is the most specific and purposeful way that a person can make an offering and awaken Lalita’s nature – that divinity reflected within the purity of our own hearts. Lalita is also known as the Sri Yantra and the Sri Chakra, depicted as the highest and most pure force of both energy and consciousness. The chanting of each name (mantra) of Lalita brings forth a cosmic vibration and directs the light within – towards expansion, purity and greater illumination. In ancient times these powerful mantras were utilised to bring various desires to fruition. Our sankalpa in this collective offering is: May all beings be well May all beings be happy May all beings be loved May all beings prosper We encourage those who attend to commit to regular monthly attendance (where possible) in order to realise and personally witness the profound effect that this sadhana can have on your life, over the course of time. Donation We humbly suggest making a donation upon registering for the program, towards puja items that will be purchased and utilised on your behalf.
