Hridayakasha Meditation (MP3 Audio)
Hridayakasha is a deepening meditation practice which focuses on the heart space.
This is an important meditation practice, as it offers an opportunity to connect with the feeling dimension of our being and to observe the constant and often subliminal activity in this region. The feeling part of the mind, which is continuously generating emotions and expressing subconscious memories, can be observed and purified from within the space of Hridayakasha.
The heartspace is also the centre of the soul, which can be experienced as the profoundly pure feeling within us, one of universal peace and benevolence.
This meditation runs for 45 minutes so a very comfortable sitting position with a straight spine is essential. This practice is more suited to experienced meditators, however it will also be of benefit to anyone feeling inspired to understand more about this part of our inner being.
